The contract includes a base period of one year, with four one-year options, for a total value of $35 million.”

The project involves collaboration with epidemiologists, medical officers, statisticians, computer scientists, data managers and analysts, and public health advisors throughout the US. DLH will provide public health data management services for qualitative and quantitative scientific and non-scientific data, including research, surveillance, program monitoring, evaluation, statistical analysis, and reporting support.”

G2X TAKE: Beating out three other bidders, DLH, a rapidly emerging and leading provider of innovative Healthcare research, services and solutions to the Federal Government, has been awarded a 5-year contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) Data Management Services. The contract, valued at $35M, was competed using GSA IT-70.
- DLH has made some significant and strategic investments over the last few years, to include acquiring leading research, systems development, and other technology-enabled solutions provider IBA last Fall, adding greatly to their Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the US Army Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) portfolio. This was on the heels of their completing the $70M acquisition in mid-2019 of Social & Scientific Systems (“S3”), an established public health service organization providing solutions in clinical and biomedical research, epidemiology, health policy, and program evaluation; and their $39M acquisition in 2016 of Federal Health technology-enabled program management, consulting, and digital communications solutions provider Danya.
