G2X TAKE: Adding to their growing portfolio of past performance in support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading consultancy that has been at the forefront of strategy and technology for more than 100 years, recently beat out one other bidder to be awarded a 5-year Enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (ELIMS) IT Services contract with CDC. The contract was competed and awarded using GSA IT-70.
- Booz Allen Hamilton continues to be a major partner across CDC. The team so far this year has added a number of strategic wins, to include a recent $74M OCIO Technical Applications Support Services task win; a $9M CDC NAMCS EHR Data Collection task; a $12M NCEZID Immunization Information Systems (IIS) Support Services task; a Data Collection and Integration for Public Health Event Response (DCIPHER) COVID-19 PM response contract; a COVID-19 ELIMS Support task; a CSTF EIP and LTRA Improvements for COVID-19 Response task; and a CSELS Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Data Collection task. These build on several wins Booz Allen Hamilton picked up to close out 2019, to include adding a Prime position on a new $100M Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide a broad range of Professional Support Services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under the CPR program; adding a CDC DCIPHER Management and Support Services contract; and picking up a task to support CDC Management Information Systems Office (MISO) POA 7 Customer DM&E Projects.
- Summit Sampat, a longtime Booz Allen leader at CDC who can bring perspective gained leading multiple cross-functional teams of over 100 staff members to develop IT and Informatics solutions to advance the public health mission at CDC, was recently promoted to serve as a Principal/Director.
