The IIS are population-based databases that record all immunization doses administered by participating providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area. There were 19 total bidders. As is typical for the CDC, the varied set of services necessary to support their public health mission requires vendors with a broad set of capabilities and the list of awardees mirrors that.
