G2X TAKE: Booz Allen Hamilton, a global technology and management consulting firm and longtime partner to the NIH was recently awarded a new 2-year Data and Specimen Hub support contract with the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. This contract, valued at $9M, was awarded using GSA IT-70.

- Built by Booz Allen on behalf of its clients at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the Data and Specimen Hub (DASH) is a centralized resource for researchers to access clinical and non-clinical data for secondary research. Designed as a platform to allow researchers to perform data discovery, DASH Data Curators ensure data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable (FAIR). More here.
- This is just the latest in a string of significant wins for Booz Allen Hamilton at NIH in 2020, to include adding a Prime spot on a $150M Biomedical Information Management and Analytic Support Services IDIQ; a $49M NIH NLM Biomedical, Public Health, Clinical, and Consumer Health Information Support Services BPA; as one of the awardees on the NIH Mission Alignment IT Support BPA; and recently adding a Prime spot on a $75M NIDDK Data Repository Services IDIQ, along with the first task under the contract.
