G2X TAKE: Beating out four other bidders, Booz Allen Hamilton, a global technology and management consulting firm, who serves as one of the primary business and technology partners to the Department of Veterans Affairs, has been awarded a new 5-year VA Logistics Redesign (VALOR) Program Support Services task. The contract was competed and awarded using the GSA Professional Services Schedule (PSS).
- This past Spring VA released a Sources Sought for VHA VALOR Program Professional Service Support. The VA VALOR acquisition and implementation effort will include the software licensing, product integration, configuration management, testing, deployment planning, hosting, organizational change management, training, sustainment and a myriad of other efforts necessary to support this enterprise-wide business transformation. Additionally, VALOR transformation efforts will address non-clinical core functional requirements which may include inventory management/supply chain capabilities as well as ongoing legacy support.
