B3 Group picks up 5-year Enterprise Acquisition Systems support task at VA

G2X TAKE: Building on a string of recent wins at VA, this Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone certified Health IT firm recently beat out four other bidders to secure this 5-year task to provide VA with a range of Enterprise Acquisition Systems support activities.

This $4.35M award to T4NG Prime B3 Group to provide Enterprise Acquisition Systems support, to include Help Desk and Acquisition Support, is just the latest in a series of task order wins this fast-rising small business has picked up in support of VA this year, with the most recent notable prior win coming late in the spring as B3 added a $21.7M VA IT and Operations (ITOPS) Support Task.

Named as one of the 30 Federal Health Consulting Firms Creating a Buzz in Q1, the meteoric rise for this small business continues. In addition to their success winning the all-important tasks, B3 Group has been quietly positioning for future growth, to include recently appointing Bill Greaves as their new Chief Technology Officer, adding established VA industry delivery and growth leader Brent Swartz, and recruiting Mandy Peckham to drive strategic growth.

We should also note that B3 Group supported the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Knowledge Based Systems’ (KBS) KNARTs (Knowledge Artifacts) project that was recently recognized as a 2018 FedHealthIT Innovation Award winner. This small business continues to be a firm many are keeping an eye on as both a partner and competitor.
