G2X TAKE: B3 Group, an SDVOSB health IT and systems integrator, and highly successful T4NG Prime, recently beat out three other bidders to be awarded a new 5-year task to support this office created to address the growing acquisition workforce challenge facing the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Federal Government overall. The task was awarded as a Service-disabled Veteran-owned small business set-aside using T4NG.
- B3 Group is a familiar at VAAA, having beat out 18 other bidders to be awarded a Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA) IT Support Services contract this past Fall.
- This continues the winning ways for B3 Group, and builds on several recent awards at VA, to include a $13.5M Enterprise Infrastructure Services Phase II Transition Support task win; an $88M Veterans Affairs Voice Systems (VS) Support task; a $163M VA Standards and COTS Integration Platform (SCIP) task award; and a very notable $686M Veterans Affairs Digital Transformation Center (DTC) Support task.
- B3 Group has made several big investments of late to bolster their executive leadership team, to include recruiting Don Shea to serve as Vice President leading Corporate Development; and adding experienced operations and strategy leader Kevin Rice as COO.
