G2X TAKE: In the rush to close out the fiscal year, the Food and Drug Administration has been very busy making a series of IT and consulting services awards. With many only being short term tasks of a year or two and given the FDA propensity to utilize the 8(a) program, expect firms to be eyeing up these contracts as recompete potentials that they can start working now and evaluating these small firms as both potential partners and competitors
