G2X TAKE: Aurotech, a small-business Management and Technology Consultancy, recently beat out 4 bidders for this BPA to help modernize FDA’s applications and infrastructure which includes IT architecture, prototyping, deploying and delivering new technical solutions for OIMT. This single-award BPA was competed on IT-70.
- As part of this effort, “OIMT expects to work on projects such as establishing a best in class data governance strategy, consult and provide expertise on establishing and enhancing use of cloud computing services, develop new systems and processes for managing and monitoring IT. It is envisioned that this acquisition will facilitate a contractor staffed team of key personnel, with subject matter experts being added and removed from the staffing as needed to support the projects and dynamic IT priorities.” Read an early copy of the RFI here.
- Aurotech is a long-time partner to FDA on numerous initiatives, to include as a Prime providing support for Enterprise Business Objects (EBO), an enterprise–wide reporting software product; supporting FDA OIMT efforts to provide development, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for the Automated Deployment Suite (ADS); and in support of an FDA Innovation Lab.
