G2X TAKE: It has been a highly successful summer for this CIO-SP3 SB and OASIS SB Prime as their Federal Health team added two contracts valued at more than $115M in support of the Defense Health Agency, to include a $90M DMIX SSIS contract and a very recent award to support DHA Connected Health.
Competed as a task on OASIS SB, ASRC Federal was recently awarded a 5-year $26M DHA Connected Health Program Mission Support Services contract. As part of this effort, the ASRC Federal team will provide program and project management services, data collection, research and analysis, education and training, marketing and communication, and research and administrative support, to include providing subject matter expertise and coordination in support of the DHA clinical communities of interest and three DHA working groups: the Mobile Health Work Group, the Patient Engagement Working Group, and the Telehealth Working Group.
Secondly, while still under protest, earlier this summer, ASRC Federal beat out 4 other bidders to be awarded the Defense Medical Information Exchange (DMIX) Sustainment & Systems Integration Support (SSIS) contract valued at just under $90 million. This contract combines the legacy Data Networks Corporation (DNC) DMIX Systems Engineering and Integration Support work acquired by ASRC Federal in 2015 and the DMIX Sustainment conducted under a SPAWAR contract.
The DMIX award is currently under protest by ActioNet with a listed due date for resolution by GAO of no later than Nov. 28, 2018. Details as to the grounds for the protest have not been released at this time. This task was run through DOI contracting and was competed on CIO-SP3 SB with bids being submitted by both small and Other Than Small (OTS) companies.
In addition to the awards, we have seen some recent leadership changes take place within the Health group at ASRC Federal as former MHS CIO, Chip Terry, who joined ASRC Federal last Fall, and Federal Health industry leader, Michael Pafumi, are reported to be taking on increased roles driving growth and delivery.
Armed with Prime access to numerous key large and small business contract vehicles and a growing confidence that comes from winning in this highly competitive environment, the team at ASRC Federal is well positioned for continued success in the years ahead.Tags: ASRC Federal DHA MHS
