G2X TAKE: AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading Government services contractor and longtime partner to the Defense Health Agency, who has been delivering IT and Engineering solutions to complex national priority programs since 1975, was just awarded a new short term task to provide DHA with Enterprise Operational Management Services. This action, which will serve as a bridge contract through the end of fiscal year 2021, was awarded as a sole source action.
- This contracted requirement is expected to cover a range of Enterprise Service Functions, to include Facility as a Service (FaaS); Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); Platform as a Service (PaaS); and Software as a Service (SaaS) for facilities in Ashburn, VA.
- This win comes on the heels of AMERICAN SYSTEMS being awarded another short-term $18M contract with the Defense Health Agency early this year to provide continued sustainment of the software suites contained in the Theater Medical Information Program-Joint.
- AMERICAN SYSTEMS brings a dedicated focus on helping their federal health customers in the following areas: Application Development and Modernization, Health IM/IT Operations, Testing, Training, and Big Data and Analytics. This includes past experience supporting the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) Program Management Office (PMO) and the Program Executive Office (PEO) for the Defense Health Management System (DHMS) requirement to ensure continuity of their critical Theater medical systems Theater Medical Information Program – Joint; providing Tier 2 Help Desk support to the US Air Force medical treatment facilities in Europe; and supporting PEO DHMS establish enterprise level-platform focused on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) that can provide software integrated tools, services, and standards that enable partners and programs to develop, deploy, and operate applications in a secure, flexible and interoperable fashion.
