G2X TAKE: Beating out five other bidders, fast-rising small business, Ad Hoc, founded by members of the former Healthcare.gov “tech surge” team, has been awarded a 39-month contract for CMS Medicare Coverage Tools (MCT) support.
This task is identified as being competed through GSA as a competitive small business set-aside.
For Ad Hoc, a relative startup who burst onto the scene in 2016, this is just the latest in a string of wins in support of CMS, to include a $57.2M Website Development Support (WDS) contract at CMS, a Prime award on a 5-year multiple-award Agile BPA at CMS, and a $10M task under the BPA to support Quality Payment Program Front-End Development.
We should note that Ad Hoc also recently added industry veteran Mark Krempley to manage and grow the firm’s efforts throughout the Federal Healthcare space. This group remains one of the firms many are watching closely as both a competitor and potential partner – the addition of Mark should only increase that interest.Tags: Ad Hoc CMS
