G2X TAKE: Five firms recently beat out three other bidders to be awarded this 4-year multiple-award IDIQ contract to provide financial and business operations management support services in support of BUMED, the headquarters command for Navy Medicine.

The objectives of this contract include “Program management and operation support services, financial management operations, business process improvement, change management and information management support activities provide best business practices that support and enhance the overall mission capabilities. It also provides opportunity for an integrated approach across financial, logistics, facilities and information technology core business functions throughout BUMED as they prepare for financial statement audit. These functions will facilitate improved resource execution through timely, accurate and reliable information gained from the various business process and improvement activities identified throughout this contract.” A copy of the solicitation can be found here.
This requirement was solicited through the FBO and Navy Electronic Commerce Online websites and the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk was the contracting activity.
