F-35 JPO PRESOLICITATION NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE: MCK

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) has issued a presolicitation notice for the development of the Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Country Kit (MCK). This centrally managed mission planning system is intended to absorb and replace individual MPE Squadron Kits currently used by F-35 Partners. The scope of work includes system design, software development, architecture and hardware engineering, cybersecurity, networking interoperability, technical program management, and training development. The MCK will utilize baseline sets of containerized software and hardware components, such as servers, workstations, and government-furnished High Assurance In-line Network Encryptors.

Naval Air Systems Command serves as the contracting activity for this requirement under solicitation number N00019-26-RFPREQ-JSFCDS-0053. The acquisition is categorized under NAICS 336411 for Aircraft Manufacturing and PSC AC13 for National Defense R&D Services; Department of Defense - Military; Experimental Development. Performance will take place in Fort Worth, Texas.
