Vacuum Excavator Trailer

The Department of the Army, specifically the MICC at Fort Drum, has issued solicitation W911S225U1198 for the procurement of a new 2025 or 2026 vacuum excavator trailer with an integrated sewer jetter system. This combined synopsis/solicitation is designated as an SBA (SBA) set-aside. The requirement is classified under NAICS 336212 Truck Trailer Manufacturing and PSC 4540 WASTE DISPOSAL EQUIPMENT. All responses must be submitted by the deadline of July 25, 2025, to the primary point of contact, Arthur West.

The requested trailer must feature an enclosed diesel engine of no less than 74HP, such as a Kubota 3307 or equivalent, with a minimum 30-gallon fuel capacity. Dimensional requirements include a maximum width of 98 inches and a maximum height of 102 inches. Key performance specifications include a spoil capacity of at least 800 gallons, dual water tanks with a minimum combined capacity of 800 gallons, and a vacuum system providing at least 1,500cfm of airflow. The unit must also include a 14-foot reach boom with hydraulic rotation, a jetter pump system with at least 500 feet of hose, and an air compressor providing no less than 180cfm.

In addition to the hardware, the award includes requirements for documentation and instructional services. The provider is responsible for delivering three copies of operator and maintenance manuals. Furthermore, the offer must include two to four hours of onsite training for up to 15 operators. The equipment package is also required to include directional safety light arrows and two 200-gallon side saddle tanks.
