FOAM SPACERS

The Department of the Army, through the W6QM MICC-Fort Drum office, has issued solicitation W911S226U3021 for the procurement of foam spacers. This combined synopsis/solicitation is designated as an SBA (SBA) set-aside and is classified under NAICS code 325212 for Synthetic Rubber Manufacturing and PSC 8135 for Packaging and Packing Bulk Materials. Responses to this notice are due by April 21, 2026, and the required delivery for all materials is on or before August 5, 2026.

The scope of this requirement includes foam spacers measuring 5 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches in thickness. The material must be Class 4, Grade B, Type I polyethylene, meeting all standards of specification A-A-59136 (28 OCT 97), and be Ethafoam 220 or an equivalent product. Each shipment must be accompanied by a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and a Certificate of Conformance (COC) or Certificate of Analysis (COA). These documents must include the manufacturer’s name, product description, lot and batch numbers, manufacture and expiration dates, analytical data, and a signature from an authorized representative.

The contracting office requires approval of the COC and COA by the MCAAP AO before a contract award is made.
