Y--Sources Sought YOSE Water & Sewer piping

The National Park Service issued special notice 140P2026R0083 to identify sources for water and sewer infrastructure improvements within Yosemite National Park, California. The project is classified under NAICS 237110 for Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction and PSC Y1ND for construction of sewage and waste facilities. The scope of the construction contract involves replacing the existing water source, supply, and distribution system serving the Big Oak Flat Welcome Center, Hodgdon Meadow Campground, and staff housing areas. Technical requirements include the construction of 1,200 linear feet of raw water line, 7,900 linear feet of water supply line, and 8,100 linear feet of distribution system. Additionally, the project requires the demolition of a 100,000-gallon steel water storage tank and the construction of a new 210,000-gallon steel tank, an access road, a water source well and pump, and a water treatment and control building. Site work also involves 3,200 linear feet of electrical distribution, 3,800 linear feet of communications service, and the abandonment of existing asbestos cement water mains.

Related sewer improvements involve connecting the Big Oak Flat sanitary sewer to the Hodgdon Meadow Campground wastewater system along Tuolumne Grove Road. This portion of the project includes the construction of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer line, 20 sanitary sewer manholes, and three service laterals. All performance will take place in the vicinity of the Big Oak Flat Entrance Station and Hodgdon Meadow Campground.
