Original Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information and attachments included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-3151-S-15-0049. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of California Land Surveys. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAC 2005-80 effective March 2, 2015. This RFQ is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This is a new requirement and no incumbent exists. Submission of written quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. Verbal quotes will not be accepted. The Government will award up to six firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreements resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Vendor whose quote is conforming to the solicitation, and will be most advantageous to the Government. Based on market research conducted in anticipation of this announcement, this acquisition will be set-aside to Women-owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns. Only responsive offerors from women-owned small businesses will be considered for award. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541370. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT/SPECS/WORK STATEMENT See Attached Exhibit A is the SOW PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance shall run for 60 calendar months. The anticipated period of performance for this agreement will be as follows: Base Period: May 1, 2015 - April 30, 2016 Option Period 1: May 1, 2016 - April 30, 2017 Option Period 2: May 1, 2017 - April 30, 2018 Option Period 3: May 1, 2018 - April 30, 2019 Option Period 4: May 1, 2019 - April 30, 2020 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: All work will be performed in various counties of California.
