This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) has a requirement for brand name products and licenses. The attached Justif ication provides NETCOM with Commercial Off-the-Shelf COTS) software products and licenses for supporting Enterprise Level requirements of new licenses and upgrades to existing licenses in support of the Configuration Management Data Base/Service Desk (CMDB/SD) System. ITEC4-W intends to award a contract on a competitive basis for these products.
