The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on behalf of Headquarters, Joint Munitions Command, issued this Special Notice to identify capable sources for two stormwater management projects at Hawthorne Army Depot in Hawthorne, Nevada. This requirement, identified under solicitation number W519TC-25-I-HWAD, is classified under NAICS 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, and PSC C1PZ, Architect and Engineering- Construction: Other Non-Building Facilities. There is no set-aside for this opportunity, designated by the acronym and explanation NONE.
The scope of work is divided into two primary projects intended to run concurrently to minimize the movement of material and equipment. The first project involves the rehabilitation of stormwater controls at the New Bomb open burn/open detonation demilitarization site, requiring the clearance of silt and material deposited by flood events. Due to the nature of the site, the presence of unexploded ordnance must be considered during the cleanup of ponds and spillways. The second project requires the design and construction of new stormwater controls capable of withstanding a 500-year flood event and containing a 100-year event. On-site storage is available for aggregate and transient materials intended for reuse in the construction of ponds and spillways.
Interested vendors must submit a capability summary, subcontractor information, a Rough Order of Magnitude for each statement of work, and feedback on contract type and timeline efficiencies. Responses are due by 0900 Central on October 13, 2025, and should be directed to Ashley Korves. Documentation for this notice includes six attachments consisting of statements of work for cleanup and design-build tasks, geotechnical investigation reports, maps of clearance areas, and hydrological data.
