The American Consulate General, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Window Replacement Services, U.S. Embassy Tokyo, Japan The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Unit Price Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Construction Type Contract for one base year plus four separate option years during the third quarter of fiscal year 2017. The contractor shall provide complete construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of this contract within the established timeframe. The contractor shall perform all works and construction activities including furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for the replacement of windowsfor various apartments units at the Mitsui Housing Compound located at 2-1-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0032, Japan. NOTE: Unique Entity Identifier and System for Award Management (SAM) registration are mandatory requirement for all companies to be considered for contract award. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language. All requirements for translations will be at the expense of the Contractor. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform construction work in Japan. A pre-proposal conference and site visit shall be tentatively scheduled for the third week of May 2017, details of which will be provided to interested offerors. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and the requirement is competed using full and open competition procedures.
