DBA Insurance Rate Agreement

The Department of State, Acquisitions - AQM Momentum, issued solicitation 19AQMM26Q0155 to establish an unfunded rate agreement for workers’ compensation insurance. Under this agreement, the selected insurer serves as the source of insurance required by the Defense Base Act for all Department of State awarded contracts. This act requires federal contractors and subcontractors working outside the continental United States to provide workers’ compensation insurance to their employees, with the U.S. Government reimbursing carriers for claims related to war hazards as defined by the War Hazards Compensation Act.
