View moreConstruction with Limited Design method will include the Government providing the design and the Contractor will further develop portions as required and will provide construction services for the project. This method will be used for non-complex or repetitive work types of projects where design cost and effort is not warranted. The Government will provide the SOW, drawings, and other documents as necessary to establish requirements to complete the project. These documents will be equivalent to a design submittal 35% to 65%. When awarded the TO the Contractor will complete any additional design efforts required by the project and produce a set of working documents for use during construction.
Construction only method will include the Government providing 100% design package, including the SOW, drawings, specification, and any other documents as necessary to establish requirements for the work to be accomplished. When awarded the TO the Contractor shall commence with construction in accordance with the design and contract requirements.
The Contractor is required to furnish all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control, and incidentals necessary to provide a complete useable end product as specified in the TO/project documents.
