Repair & Maintain Airfield Stormwater System Phase II

The 94th Contracting Flight at Dobbins Air Reserve Base is managing Phase II of the airfield stormwater system repairs in Marietta, Georgia. This project focuses on drainage infrastructure east of Taxiway J, specifically within basins III, IV, and V. The work involves regrading slopes, cleaning existing pipes and flumes, and installing new concrete flumes to restore drainage and prevent erosion. Because the project is on an active airfield, it requires strict safety protocols, including FOD checks and utility coordination. This is a 100% small business set-aside with an estimated value between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 and a 420-day performance period. Phase II of the stormwater system project at Dobbins Air Reserve Base involves repairs to infrastructure east of Taxiway J. The work focuses on basins III, IV, and V, where contractors will regrade slopes and apply sod to stabilize the area and ensure proper drainage. Existing flumes, pipes, and swales will be cleaned, and new concrete flumes will be installed to prevent erosion. Installing new concrete flumes and replacing storm pipes as shown in the final engineering drawings.
