The Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, Mississippi, issued this Sources Sought notice, solicitation number N6945023R0071, to identify potential providers for a forklift maintenance contract. This procurement is designated as a 100% Small Business Competitive Set-Aside and is classified under NAICS code 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and PSC J024 for MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- TRACTORS. The government is seeking sources located within a 250-mile radius of Gulfport, Mississippi, to perform work at Building 118 and various other base locations.

The selected contractor will provide all parts, materials, equipment, labor, and transportation necessary for scheduled maintenance and repair services on 26 forklifts of various makes and models and one warehouse tow tractor. For electric forklifts, the scope includes annual servicing of associated battery chargers in conjunction with scheduled preventative maintenance. The anticipated performance period consists of a one-year base period followed by four one-year options and a final six-month option, for a total contract duration not to exceed 66 months.
