FAS-33 Overhaul

The U.S. Secret Service issued solicitation N6264926Q0373 for the overhaul of the FAS-33. This requirement is classified under NAICS code 336611 for Ship Building and Repairing and PSC J019 for the maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of equipment related to ships, small craft, pontoons, and floating docks. Offerors must certify that they hold an active U.S. Navy Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan Region. Organizations that do not currently possess a NAVSUP FLCY MSRA/ABR must submit a copy of an approved and active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR as a prime contractor within their proposal package. Eligibility is limited to sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan as prescribed by DFARS 252.225-7042.

Contractors located outside Japan are required to submit documentation unambiguously demonstrating compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 to remain eligible for award. Furthermore, any offeror that does not possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan Region must agree to execute a master agreement before the award of a job order.
