The primary purpose of this acquisition is to provide professional land surveying services as required for administration of National Forest System (NFS) Lands in five different National Forests in the Eastern Region of the USDA, Forest Service. Forests are located in Michigan, Minnesota, New York and Pennsylvania. Work will include surveying and posting the legal property boundaries of land within the NFS, or Congressionally Designated Area boundaries (e.g. wilderness).
Performance requirements include, but are not limited to, identification, monumentation and perpetuation of property corners and controlling corners for land surveys performed to locate property boundaries, boundary conflict investigation, boundary line posting and maintenance of previously posted lines and corners, right-of- way surveys, geodetic control, mapping and other incidental work normally associated with the survey profession.
The Forest Service anticipates award of seven (7) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity basic contracts for a period not to exceed five years, with a maximum cumulative total of $2,000,000.00 per IDIQ contract. Individual task orders will be issued against a contract as program needs arise. The yearly task order totals may not necessarily be divided evenly among the awardees. The government guarantees to purchase a minimum of $2,500.00 in services for the contract period. During the period specified the Government shall place task orders totaling a minimum of $2,500.00, but not in excess of $500,000.00 per individual task order. This solicitation is being set aside for Small Businesses under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541370. The Small Business Administration size standard is $19 million.
This acquisition is for IDIQ contracts for five (5) Region 9 forests. Prospective bidders should complete the package in Section J (to include the SF-330) for the forest for which they wish to be considered. The contracts awarded will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for a total of 5 years. Estimated contract award date is on or about May 15, 2023.
Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
