The Department of State, Acquisitions - AQM Momentum, issued a Justification and Approval under solicitation number 19AQMM26C0204 to extend life support and maintenance services in SSD. This requirement is classified under NAICS 561210 for Facilities Support Services and PSC R799 for SUPPORT- MANAGEMENT: OTHER. The extension is designed to maintain uninterrupted operations during the drawdown and decommissioning of the Residential Compound and the existing Embassy Compound as the mission transitions to a New Embassy Compound.

The proposed extension period of performance begins June 1, 2026, and runs through December 31, 2028, providing approximately 31 months of full-scope services. If the New Embassy Compound completion is delayed, the extension may continue through February 28, 2029. Following the opening of the new facility, the government requires a reduced level of services for an additional eight months, concluding in October 2029, to manage final facility closeout. This phased transition allows for the planning of a full and open competition for long-term support at the new compound, which is expected to begin in early 2027.
