The solicitation is being competed as a full and open and is intended for a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) award. The successful Contractor will provide services in the following task areas 1) Preventative Maintenance, 2. Airbrake and Filters maintenance, 3. Engine Maintenance, 4. Locomotive Technical Training, 5. N-Compass Support, 6. Emergency On-site Support, 7. Locomotive Contingency Support and 8. Engine Fuel Injector Replacements. A draft Performance Work Statement has been added to this annoucement for informational purposes and is subject to change with the issuance of the solicitation.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 488210 - Support Activities for Rail Transportation; the Small Business size standard is $34.0M. The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about May 12, 2023. Proposal will be due approximately 25 days following the issuance of the solicitation, subject to change with the issuance of the solicitation. The contract award in response to this solicitation will be an IDIQ and firm-fixed price task orders will be issued for individual requirements.
