UK-Wide Mortuary BPA

The Department of the Air Force, through the 48th Contracting Squadron, is seeking to establish a single, UK-wide Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide comprehensive mortuary affairs support for the 100th Force Support Squadron at RAF Mildenhall and the 48th Force Support Squadron at RAF Lakenheath. This requirement, identified under solicitation FA558726Q0014, involves the collection, handling, and transportation of human remains throughout the United Kingdom mainland. The procurement is classified under NAICS 812210 Funeral Homes and Funeral Services and PSC G001 SOCIAL- CARE OF REMAINS AND/OR FUNERAL. There is no set-aside designated for this action, which is being competed as a combined synopsis/solicitation.

The selected contractor will provide all labor, transportation, equipment, and materials required for the dignified handling of remains in compliance with United Kingdom laws on a 24/7 on-call basis. Services include the collection of remains from any location on the UK mainland, completion of legal paperwork, and minimum preparations. The scope also requires the capability to provide interim refrigerated storage for up to 30 days at a licensed contractor facility before onward transportation to RAF Mildenhall or RAF Lakenheath. Transportation services are structured using a tiered pricing model based on distances of under 30 miles, 30 to 150 miles, and over 150 miles.

The place of performance is designated as FPO, AE, USA, covering the UK mainland. Responses are due by April 15, 2026.
