The Government is not responsible forany costs incurred for any response to this notice. Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Quantico, VA, intends to award a firmfixed price (FFP) and indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ)contract over a 5 year period to Knight's Armament of 701 Columbia Blvd,Titusville, FL 32780 under FAR 6.302-1(c), Application for Brand NameDescription at a total value of $2,500,000. This effort will satisfy theGovernment's requirement for the Mk-11 Mod 1/M110 precision rifle . Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond tothe requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning theircapabilities to provide supplies sought including pricing data sufficientenough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available.This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However,the Government will consider other proposals received prior to 25 August2010 5:00pm EST. A determination by the government not to compete thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the government. Information received will be considered solelyfor the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332994,Small Arms Manufacturing, and the SBA size standard is 500 employees.
