We invite interested vendors, airports, and stakeholders to provide comments, questions, and suggestions. TSA Gold+ is a voluntary, opt-in model where procurement costs must not exceed the government’s cost for staffing, while requiring the contractor to deliver the full scope of screening services, technology, and maintenance. Our goal is to foster true partnership with industry to deliver best-in-class security and efficiency for the traveling public.
To further engage with industry and stakeholders, TSA will host a TSA Gold+ Industry Day on May 21, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. (hybrid format: in-person at TSA HQ and virtual attendance available). Interested parties are required to register for Industry Day by COB May 18, 2026 and participate in this important dialogue. The Registration Form link can be found in the Links Section below.

The Transportation Security Administration is initiating the TSA Gold+ procurement to modernize aviation security at select U.S. airports through a public-private partnership. This program builds upon the existing Screening Partnership Program to provide integrated, outcome-based solutions covering workforce, technology, and maintenance under TSA regulatory oversight. The initiative follows a voluntary, opt-in model where contractors deliver the full scope of screening services and technology while ensuring procurement costs do not exceed government staffing costs.
